Habits and routines were a concept we've known since we were kids. Right from when we stepped into that little uniform, and wore it to embark upon the most crucial of life journeys through Elementary we've always had to conform to certain habits.
Get up every morning, brush, bathe, shave (well maybe not back then), and do the stuff we were set out to do even if it does mean wallow in self-loathing for all you people out snapping that life this way just isn't worth it.
However people do say everyday is a new one. Now that doesn't mean it necessarily always is. The psychological stimulus you acquire from actually having a day out of the ordinary "from-to-bed" daily routine you might have going on, is always much more fulfilling and enriching than maybe just having to rush to the restroom to take a dump for the worst.
Never fear though, excitement is always where you least expect it. You may not even know of it without choosing to indulge in a potential opportunity or "plot-device" that would delightedly present itself to you.
These are the general questions and tests you're put through everyday.
For example, here you are sitting and minding your own business when your friend maybe cares to indulge in a conversation with you about something that they recently had the time to idealize.
Now you've got two options,
1. You can continue doing whatever it is you were doing and completely ignore their desperate cries to be acknowledged.
OR
2. You could see what they do have to say, regardless of the fact that you do have some prior experience to having conversations with them that end up with you asserting your ideals about the subject they've just brought up with love for you to be amazed.
This does not limit to conversations alone. You could also wonder "What would happen if I turned to these two numbskulls making derogatory remarks about my 'questionable' sense of fashion, and gave them a piece of knuckles?"
The answer to that is, yes, yes you could, but resorting to physical confrontation is something that not all our general population is evidently good at. Although it would help you garner the change to your habitual lifestyle that you're scratching walls to get away from.
But it takes a lot more self control to let it slide, let karma do some talking first, we do know Karma is in fact our best friend.
If you're feeling bored of your routine find simple things to elevate your level of entertainment. Read a BOOK, no one's gonna be pointing at you with an index finger if you read that 'five-hundred pager' by the letters.
Action is not meant to be part of everyday life, you're just gonna have to accept that. Our bodies aren't built to be under constant and vehement labor every single day, if you think today has been a drag up to now. Think why. What are you doing that makes it so boring? Or What aren't you?
